1. Program purpose
These Affiliate Terms apply to affiliates who promote Affilitrak to merchants. By participating in the Affilitrak affiliate program, you agree to promote Affilitrak honestly, legally, and in a way that protects merchants and the Affilitrak brand.
2. Brand search and paid ads
Affiliates may not bid on, target, or run paid search ads against Affilitrak branded terms without written permission from Affilitrak.
- Do not bid on "Affilitrak", close misspellings, branded phrase matches, or competitor comparison terms that imply you are Affilitrak.
- Do not use Affilitrak branding in ad copy, display URLs, domains, social handles, or landing pages in a way that could confuse merchants.
- Do not send paid traffic directly to Affilitrak through ads that appear to be official Affilitrak ads.
3. Identity and promotional conduct
You must be clear that you are an independent affiliate and not Affilitrak, an Affilitrak employee, or an official Affilitrak support channel.
- Do not pretend to be Affilitrak or speak on behalf of Affilitrak.
- Do not publish fake reviews, fake testimonials, fabricated results, or endorsements from people who did not actually provide them.
- Do not make misleading claims about Affilitrak features, pricing, expected revenue, Shopify approval, or merchant outcomes.
4. No spam or abusive promotion
Affiliates must follow all applicable laws and platform rules when promoting Affilitrak. Spam, deceptive outreach, and low-quality traffic are not allowed.
- Do not send unsolicited bulk email, SMS, direct messages, or automated outreach.
- Do not use cookie stuffing, forced clicks, hidden redirects, malware, browser extensions, or other deceptive tracking methods.
- Do not promote Affilitrak on sites or channels involving illegal activity, harassment, hate, adult content, or other content Affilitrak considers harmful to the brand.
5. Legitimate referred merchants
Commissions are only earned for legitimate referred merchants who install Affilitrak, are attributed to your referral according to Affilitrak tracking, and remain eligible under the program rules.
- Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake stores, test stores, bot traffic, and incentivized installs that are not real merchant interest are not commissionable.
- Affilitrak may reject, withhold, or cancel commissions connected to fraud, abuse, policy violations, attribution manipulation, or suspicious activity.
- Affilitrak may request reasonable information to validate a referral before approving or paying a commission.
6. Reversals and adjustments
Commissions may be reversed or adjusted when the underlying merchant relationship does not become a valid paid customer relationship.
- Commissions may be reversed if the referred merchant refunds, chargebacks, cancels, downgrades, or uninstalls quickly after signup.
- Commissions may be adjusted for billing failures, duplicate attribution, plan changes, mistaken payments, or merchant accounts later found to be invalid.
- Affilitrak has final discretion over eligibility, approval, reversal, and payment timing for affiliate commissions.
7. Program changes
Affilitrak may update these terms, change commission rules, pause the program, or remove an affiliate from the program when needed. Continued participation after changes means you accept the updated terms.
